Per CHP on May 15, 2017 Mark Mead (60) of Sonora was riding a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle on Hwy 49 near Whittle Road near Frogtown at approximately
50 MPH.
Mead attemted to stop due to a vehicle stopped in his lane when he rear wheel skidded and his motorcycle overturned, ejected him from the motorcycle.
He sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Sonora Regional Hospital for treatment.
