Dear Editor:
I just want to let the CHP know how much we who live and have to share the road with giant logging trucks on SR 4 appreciate their vigilance.
We watch all the time, when SPI appears to be overloaded and unsafe. But when there are CHP at the weight station in Murphys, they seem to know it and the highway is safer.
Yesterday I was on 4 going through Murphys and saw three CHP at the station with two big trucks stopped. Thank you so much!
