California Voters Choice Act

The California Voters Choice Act was passed in 2016, enacted to make voting
more convenient and accessible to all voters.

Currently 74% of all voters in Calaveras vote by mail. With the Voters Choice Act every registered voter will receive a vote by mail ballot.

The voter then has the option of returning their vote by mail, drop it off at a vote center or place in ballot box.

Also, two vote centers will be open 10 days in advance of election day, where you can receive assistance if you need it.

For more information, go to Calaveras Elections department, voter services.  Rigister, and VOTE!!
