UPDATE: Hwy 49 will be closed in both directions for an unknown period of time. Ordered a big rig tow truck to respond and caltrans cleanup for oil.
October 21, 2019 at 10:20 AM: An overturned big rig has been reported on Hwy 49 near Melones on the Calaveras County side.
An ambulance and other emergency personnel are responding to the scene.
