On September 25, 2019 at man from Brentwood crossed over the double yellow line near Spicer
Reservoir around 10 PM and struck a Calaveras Sheriff's deputy responding to a call head-on.
Finally locating the man, apparently hunting in the area, he was arrested for alleged DUI and other felony charges and booked into the Calaveras County jail. His bail is $ 130,000.
