Geese beginning to head South

The beautiful Canada Geese who live at Sequoia Woods during the
good weather months, are beginning to fly South. Their familiar
V's are not a long as they once were, due to hunting where they winter.

Those are resident geese that don’t leave the area all year, there have not been any major storms in Canada to force their move south yet, (along with other waterfowl). And hunting means people providing funding for conservation and enforcement of laws, which without would be devastating to any animal that overpopulates because they run out of food and die in masses. People are to blame for encroaching on / in their wetlands as our population grows.

OH, sure. They just love it when there's 3 feet of snow on the golf course. Dummy!
