While Ami Bera is ahead by a few hundred votes, the Congressional race between Dan Lungren and Ami Bera is
too close to call, per the election center at the state.
Today the absentee and provisional ballots will be counted and perhaps by this evening we'll have a winner.
This is the second time Dr. Bera has run against Lungren, who has made some unhappy voters in this district. Because of redistricting, neither will represent Calaveras County.
Tom McClintock, a very popular candidate, won easily to become the Congressional representative for the Calaveras County area.
