A big joke was made of it by Calaveras County Board of Supervisors Chair Gary Tofanelli, but it is happening.
It all started during Correspondence when Tofanelli mentioned that Callaway is taking a course called Courage to Change.
A comment that Supervisor Darren Spellman was spending a lot of time with Callaway lately got a laugh, and then the Chair stated that "well, Darren has changed." That got the biggest laugh of all.
And the proof of that is in his extreme liberal votes against all property rights. He eagerly voted to approve what many have called the "Nazi takeover Design Committee" of Mokelumne Hill.
This was totally against property rights of any kind and he is sounding more and more like Steve Wilensky and Merita Callaway when he talks.
A tax and spender, he spoke in favor of raising RIM fees.
Tofanelli's demise as a Supervisor began when he started hanging around with Callaway's "scummy" friends. He even took his shirt off to pose for them and allowed pictures of himself to be taken with Callaway's liberal extremists.
What this showed the voters was that he was not the property rights, fiscal conservative they had voted for in the first place. She knows how to kill your re-election chances and she goes for it.
Spellman is next. He would have been her only right wing extremist enemy on the Board come January, since all of the others elected are very left wing tax and spenders. She fully intends to get rid of him. And it will work. She is very good at it.
Next, Spellman will be taking Tofanelli's place going with her to events, chopping wood, dancing, and getting photo ops naked, with the left.
Goodbye Supervisor Spellman. It's time for you to go, anyway. You can only pretend to be a nice guy and still write e-mail slurs. Everyone is learning the truth about you and Callaway is finishing you off.
But then you have already lost the most important support you had in the last election.

It is true that Tofanelli was awful close to some low life liberals that Callaway hooked him up with. Yes, it cost him votes because people felt he was playind them.
It was so obvious she was making him look like a left. If he wasn't smart enough to pick up on it, it's his own fault.
I think most of us thought he was a fence sitter they couldn't really trust. Spellman's bunch of TP's turned on him.
I think that was about the shooting range. he voted right about that one. who cares about the Tp's anyway. They're losers!
The final blow for Tofanielli was that Edson was willing to sell his soul to the left. Tofaneli stood his ground and did the right thing.
I saw the slurs he write. we need to get rid of him. he's no good!
