OP-ED.....:LINCH"pins of Liberty?

If you never watch the Senate or House invetigative committees in action, you are missing one of  our most government activities at work.

Not boring, and in fact, enlightening; for example, yesterday the so-called investigation
into why the IRS made it difficult for some 501c4's to get their non-profit status.

Would you believe one of them is actually named LINCHPINs for Liberty!! I'm not in the IRS, but the founder was at the table and when he said the name, I cringed.

One of the many tea party organizations that have come into being since President Obama was elected, and many of which state their desire to go back to what the original founding fathers of the USA put in the Constitution.

Let's see, most of our Founding Fathers were slaveowners, who did not allow those who don't own land to vote,  did not allow women to vote, and believed that all blacks were NOT HUMAN, but only PROPERTY!!

Where blacks were "lynched" regularly without any recrimination by law!

Oh, sure, we definitely want to go back to that, don't we?  Well, it seems that there are a few who do, hence many tea party groups origination formed after we elected a black President is our belief.

This may not sound pretty, but it's unfortunately the truth. LYNCHPINS of Liberty was simply
more straightforward of a name, in our opinion.

One founder after another, many who were anti-women's rights, stated that they were asked many questions about their political actions within the group.  DUH!! Of course they are politically active.

We don't believe that any political action groups, left or right, should get a free ride. If the Congress truly cares about the people, they will prevent this from happening and change the law.
