UPDATE: Both ambulances leave, then tow trucks load vehicles, Hwy 4 clear by 5:35 PM. One CHP unit still looking at scene. The highway is now clear.
UPDATE: One ambulance just left the scene headed towards the hospital. Four fire
vehicles are at the scene.
JPDATE: Two CHP are now at the scene. Traffic is being directed slowly
around the accident in one lane. Two ambulances responded to the accident.
July 22, 2013 at 4:42 PM: CHP, fire and ambulance have responded to a head-on accident involving a vehicle pulling a trailer, a pickup now against the dirt embankment and other vehicles blocking Hwy 4 near the US Forest Service Office.
A Jeep reportedly still has one person inside. Tow trucks were called due to major front end damage to vehicles. This accident involved the suicide lane somehow.
