Last year we heard about a nearby Republican Assemblywoman being forcibly moved to a small office after behavior they deemed inappropriate.. We think she challenged another Republican they like and protect to a chairmanship.
Anyway, the Democrats do the same thing. A Santa Barbara Assemblyman was ordered to move to a smaller office after missing a floor session of the Assembly without an excused absence. Some of his aides even have to now work in an annex office.
This is considered the ultimate shame in California legislative politics.
