In Calaveras County? Action Summary--no more minutes???? Corruption run rampant!!

Reminder:  The Meeting is TONIGHT at 5 PM. To give the Board Clerk of Calaveras County the leeway to have nothing but "action summaries"
and not take minutes goes against the very problem that Calaveras County has had now for years.

Yes, we take videos!  But everyone who pays attention knows that in August and September of 2007, the videos were altered after many reviewed them, along with online minutes regarding Resolution 07-242.

The very wording of the Resolution was changed from WILL to MAY and the entire Resolution was altered to cover for it.

The video, when it returned to its place, had the term "technical difficulties" as the reason why half of the discussion of 07-242 was now missing.

As long as we have no legally protective place for these videos, "action summaries" simply give the Board Clerk and the Board of Supervisors much to much leeway to reword anything they want.

The 07-242 Resolution showed everyone what goes on at the County level to be at the very least "dishonest".  What will happen with brief  "action summaries"?

OMG!!!  And with owing favors to certain board members anything could happen!!!   It's simply true that Calaveras County doesn't need more corruption; we need less. No less documentation, but more!!!!

Are you calling for transparency? Which of any of the BOS would want that? Transparency is only to be talked about, not implemented and enforced. It is funny how so many resolutions have the chairperson's signature except for 04-272. That would be Claudino's signature.
Welcome to Omerica and Calaveras County.

It will most likely pass at a night meeting. None of the regular attendees that remember this corruption are expected to be there.

/Is this so that they don't need a board clerk and they can lay off the one that's there now? There will be no need of a board clerk at meetings!

Calaveras County is corrupt enough. I don't think this is a good idea. What are they thinking? If they are laying this person off, okay, but if not, then why?

If this one passes, you'll know that these Supervisors are only on the side of the employees and against the voters! This gives them a lot less work and US a lot less documentation and transparency!!!

The more they can hide, the longer they will be in office.

What is all the fuss about? Think of all the taxpayer money we could save by eliminating the county clerks office.
