Tea Party wants money to oust Lindsay Graham?

The oddest things happened right on the heels of our phone conversation with Assemblyman Bigelow's chief of staff.

We received a forwarded email from one of the local tea party organizations.

They are collecting money in order to throw Republican Senator Lindsay Graham out of office because he agreed to a settlement over the "filibuster" rule with Senator Harry Reid.

We are totally confused.  Republicans no longer can just be Republicans? They have to be tea partiers or they could get money put up against them in the next primary for an even MORE right wing candidate?

Is that what Assemblyman Bigelow is trying to do, cater to the tea party types so they won't try and put someone else up against them who is even more to the right edge (near the drop-off?)

We believed that Lindsay Graham was a right wing extremist and was simply settling with the Democrats (the way the Senate is supposed to come to agreements).

Is this insanity or what?  Democrats won't complain, because in the last election the extremists lost to Democrats when their strange beliefs and ways became known to the voters.
