In a lengthy interview, a letter written by Dick Cheney's doctor saying he was in great health at the time of his being picked as Vice-President was made public.
Cheney admitted it wasn't actually true, since he had previously had heart attacks, but that his doctor wrote it and he isn't responsible.
Cheney also stated that he thinks the uprising of the Tea Party is a good thing for the Republican Party and that there is no rift within the party.
Meanwhile Republican Senator Mitch McConnell was stating that he had told the people responsible for the attempt to defund Obamacare that it was a bad idea back in July, but they wouldn't listen. He says there will be no more shutdowns!
That's a pretty big rift right there, Mr. Cheney!!
