Jake Chatfield of San Andreas

   Jake Chatfield of San Andreas passed away peacefully of Friday, October 25, 2013. He was 41.

    Born in Jackson on October 3, 1972, he attended Calaveras High School. He loved being a plumber and had been a cranberry farmer in Oregon. He loved Bob Marley.

     Well known within the community for his kind spirit and passion for skateboarding, gardening and snowboarding, he inspired others with his genuine love for life, mother earth and his pursuit of a peaceful existence.

   He is survived by his only daughter Ashlee Ann Chatfield of Sonora, mother Paula Bagshaw of San Andreas, father Charlie Chatfield of Mokelumne Hill, sister Jessica Chatfield of San Andreas, beloved nephew Skylyr Combs of San Andreas, many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless lifelong friends.

  Jake was a special person with a big heart, was a big Teddy Bear and was very giving.

   A memorial service will be held on November 2, 2013 at 1 PM at Mokelumne Hill Park in Mokelumne Hill.
