John Boehner, Speaker of the House of Representatives, says there are not enough votes in the House of Representatives to pass a clean bill on raising the debt limit, which is due in about a week.
It would be nice if he would prove it by placing in on the floor of the House, but he most likely won't do that, because then he could be proven wrong.
The Tealiban are threatening to take the Speaker position away from him if he allows a vote on any clean bill. Yes, this is the blackmail they are holding over him. We expect him to start crying anytime now.
