We support AB 711 on the Governors desk now...Supervisor Ponte wants more lead poisoning!!

While our illustrious Calaveras Board of Supervisors overwhelmingly voted to write a letter
opposing AB 711, and to encourage Governor Brown to veto it, the Audubon
Society has shown mountains of academic research that supports removing all lead from ammunition for the good of wildlife and humans.

What will Governor Brown do? If he ignores it, the bill will become law and a big step will be taken to remove at least some lead from ours and the wildlife's environment.

But Supervisor Ponte, who says her husband says there is no substitute for lead, is very mistaken and obviously none of the Supervisors of Calaveras County care about either humans or wildlife. She believes lead poisoning is a good thing!!

What a shame!  We have some very bad elected officials in Calaveras County. It is clear that the Audubon Society could teach this large landowner a few things about life. Hopefully, the Ponte's will only be able to pollute their own land soon.

Go to Audubon California to send an email asking the Governor to sign this bill.

Now the Ponte's must be inviting all of us who like lead to come shoot on their ranch. Thank you, Ms. Ponte. We'll be there with bells on, well, you know what I mean, with lead on.

Oh, come on. Everyone knew Ponte would be doing Tryons bidding.

Don't forget. Callaway voted with Ponte. She doesn't care about either the animals or the environment either.
Can we all go hunt on Callaways place in Forest Meadows now?

It's that gun fanatic boyfriend of hers that has changed her. she used to be nice.

We're talking about ranchers, here guys. Uh, duh, uh duh, uh duh. Tryon or Ponte, all the same. She tried to pretend she was different, but she's not.

Just some info for all you city slickers moving up here and trying to chage our ways to your city ways, and I did not vote for Ponte so you can bite your tongues there, but it has been proven that a clean kill with lead will kill the animal quick. Any other type of non lead bullet will just wound it. Now do you want a clean kill or a wounded animal so you all can complain about the injured deer in the forest who sffers due to the no lead bill. If you don't like the lifestyle up here, move back to where you came from. I suppose most of you also believe our meat comes from the supermarket. Move to another state like Louisiana in the bayous and try to change their ways. I guarantee most of you would wind up gator bait. Bash me if you want, I don't give a rats arse. I'm allowed my say. I'm sick and tired of city slickers taking over and not changing to OUR ways.

Why are you picking on Teflon Tom "Tryonville" illegal outdoor shooting range Tryon?
Some day in the future it will catch up to those involved. It will be expensive.

Do you really want Teflon Tom back in office? Before the election and after the election so many things were exposed concerning Teflon Tom's self interest.
If you don't like Ponte, find someone better, who will represent the constituents in the district.
Remember one thing, it's the past board of supervisors who put this county into the financial situation its in. Only one is left. Now it's up to the new board to cure the problem. Give them suggestions.
