Beatrice (Bea) Miller of Avery

     Beatrice (Bea) Frisk Miller was born January 17, 1921 in Mountain Grove, MO. to Harry E. Frisk and Mary Gosvener Frisk.

  She was the second eldest of eleven brothers and sisters.
She married April 7, 1939 to Roy Patrick Miller in Oakdale.

   After her marriage, the couple had two sons, Gene Miller and Vernon Miller. 

   Bea passed away on November 28, 2013 at her home in Avery, surrounded by her loving family members.

    She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Roy Patrick Miller, sisters Hazel Avis Frisk and Berniece Smith, borthers Harry (Gene) Frisk and Charles (Merle) Frisk.

   She is survived by one brother, Vern Frisk, and five sisters, Fairy Hale, Genevieve Turnham, Geneva Obermerer, Fern rowley and Janet Frisk.

   Bea also leaves behind her two sons Gene Miller (Pat) of Hathaway Pines, and Vernon Miller (Ingrid) of Cottage Springs; six grandchildren (Daryl Miller of China, Sondra Younger of Arnold, Darin Miller of Oregon, Tim Miller of Idaho, Stacie Melquiadez of Angels Camp and Lucas Miller of Sonora.)

   Bea was a proud great-grandmother of six, Daniel Miller, Caitlin Ramorini, Randin Miller, Cole
Younger, Eva Melquiadez and Christopher Younger.

   During her life Bea owned many restaurants and a general store in the Long Barn area, was the first owner of the Cottage Springs Ski Resort and proudly kept her faith with involvement in the Faith Lutheran Church in Murphys.

   Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at the Faith Lutheran Church at 65 Mitchler Ave. in Murphys. Services are at 3 PM with a reception immediately following.

   Angels Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
