UPDATE: At 5:45 AM on September 6, 2014 Hwy 49 was reopened to one-way traffic control in
the fire area.
As of 8:30 PM on September 5, 2014 the Bridge Fire in the Mariposa area was 300 acres and 0% contained.
Evacuations are for Chowchilla Mountain Road, Harris Cutoff Road and all of the Ponderosa Basin area.
