UPDATE: According to a Supervisor this was meant to be administrative changes only; not a real raise. It affects the codes.
Also, we have received information not yet confirmed that the Sheriff Kuntz took
in a lot more in wages and benefits than this document shows. We feel that Captain Macedo, who actually does the work, deserves a raise.

October 14, 2014: On the Calaveras Supervisors agenda this morning is giving a big pay raise to the Calaveras Sheriff Kuntz. The basic pay will be $65 per hour. OMG!
Then if you add in benefits, pensions, medical per month for his girlfriend, it comes to over $150,000 a year. Does anyone else see anything wrong here?
In fact, its hard to believe, since most people feel less safe, and their belonging less secure, due to Mr. Kuntz inability to run a Sheriff's Office properly or keep his department honest and sober?

If he hasn't changed, stopped his behavior, why does he deserve a raise, simply because wilensky got him re-elected
