There are currently no weather watches or warnings in Calaveras areas.
However, the Calaveras Sheriff is issuing weather of concern; a wind advisory nearby, for the Sacramento Valley, Delta, Northern San Joaquin Valley and Southern Lake county areas.
This is in effect from 6 AM December 30, 2014 to 12 PM on December 31, 2014. A few inches of snow possible along the Sierra late Monday into Tuesday.
Northeast winds 15 to 30 MPH with gusts up to 50 MPH Tuesday and New Years Eve. Local gusts greater than 75 MPH possible along Sierra ridges.
If it comes our way, it could affect driving conditions, making it difficult, with possible tree damage and power outages. Use caution.
