Executed in 1944, cleared in 2014

More than 70 years after George Stinney was executed in South Carolina for beating to death two young white girls, a judge today exonerated the 14 year old, stating he never committed the crime.

We are no longer shocked this type of racism went on back then and continues to this day. Members of Stinney's family were present for todays announcement.
