The Kroencke's were expected at their son's home in Berry Creek, Butte County on December 20, 2014 and never showed up.
Instead, they were found shot to death in their vehicle on a nearby road. Butte County today arrested a man who lived nearby.
After he was handcuffed, according to Butte County authorities, at the time of his arrest he had an AK 47 style rifle, loaded with 30 rounds of ammunition, a handgun and assorted knives and other weapons on him at a nearby store.
