Angels Creek land for sale--government grants for trails?

Trails are an excellent place to dump
trash and for crime. Who is going
to be responsible for this trail?
Each individual Councilperson?
At the January 20, 2015 Angels Camp City Council meeting, Mr. Dave Hanham of Planning,  stated that the City is in negotiations with a landowner to buy land from them along Angels Creek for their trails project.  Are you willing to sell your backyard for the trails?

After being questioned by a Councilperson, he admitted that the grant they are applying for, a $5 million grant from the US government, would be used in part, for attempting to purchase Angels Creek properties. And if the property owner says NO, then what Mr. Hanham??

Check into this, I am thinking that one piece of property belongs to Folendorf. Do you see a connection here? Maybe a "push" for the trail? Maybe a push to make others sell their property rights away to the general public to hike through their front yards?

Land with direct access to a lake is more valuable than land without access to a lake. Makes sense for some landowners to want to see a trail.

Are you trying to say that Folendorf may want access to the creek through someone elses land and is willing to put a relative on the council to appropriate and make their land more valuable. I think i'm sick.
