Dog burned alive inside carrier

UPDATE on February 20, 2015:  Authorities now have a suspect in the torture and killing of this young dog.  A 20 year old Oakland resident  is the alleged killer.

UPDATE on January 22, 2015:   The ALDF (Animal Legal Defense Fund) has offered an $8,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who burned this poor dog alive.

The Sierra Sentinel is offering a $1000 reward to the VET

with enough guts to tell the truth and testify about our dog being poisoned, and other animal abuses by these same criminals, in Calaveras County.

Why are there so many crazy; and we mean crazy people around loose.  Around 12:30 AM on January 21, 2015, the Sacramento Fire Department responded to a report of a small fire
in front of a Masonic Temple in Sacramento.

It turned out to be a dog carrier and inside was a small dog that had been set on fire inside the carrier. It burned to death before the Fire Department could arrive.

The Sierra Sentinel is personally aware of dog poisonings, cat strangling,  and other mistreatment of animals in Calaveras County by people known to be mentally ill.  Why aren't they locked away in an institution where they belong.
