How many idiots???? The so-called Calaveras County General Plan Update, which has taken something like 12 years, and just about as many Planning Directors, costing the taxpayers over $2 million.
And its nearly time to start planning another one. The county lost the 2.4 % it gained in population during the recession after the passage of 07-242, and has not gained it back.
The wasted time on Community Plans, pushed by Steve Wilensky and friends, also cost state taxpayers; $150,000, just for the Valley Springs plan, run by the MyValleySprings.com people like Marti Crane.
How many idiots does it take to screw in a lightbulb in Calaveras County?? They still haven't eliminated the Arnold, and other District 3 Community Plans, which were written for personal gain by a certain developer, where he was eliminated from all plans.
