CalFire reports that they responded to a vegetation fire in the 21000 block of Hwy 26 in West Point on March 12, 2015 around 1:30 PM.
The cause of the fire was determined to be debris burning without adequate clearance from the prior day. 1/4 acre was burned before CalFire responded and got it extinguished.
