The Calaveras Sheriff's Office says that they responded to Lakeside Mobil Home Park in Railroad Flat on March 23, 2015 around 9:08 PM for a report of a stabbing .
The victim was a 19 year old male who sustained multiple stab wounds on his chest, back and side.
He was conscious and alert upon deputies arrival and was flown via air ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.
Deputies interviewed witnesses on scene who directed them to an area near Black Oak Drive on Railroad Flat Road.
Deputies contacted Taylor Michael Baird, age 19 from San Andreas on scene and arrested him for attempted murder. He was transported to the Calaveras County Jail for booking.
Bail was set at $510,000. The victim's injuries are listed as non-life threatening and this case is till under investigation, per the Sheriff.
