January 5, 2016 at 10:35 AM: CHP received a report that a vehicle had hit and killed a deer on Murphys Grade Road at Upper French Gulch Road in Murphys and ran.
CHP is en route to the scene, where the deer is in the roadway. There are a lot of deer on Murphys Grade Road, where they cross to get to the creek. Slow down and get deer warning whistles!!
