Rumble strips are the little bumps that alert a driver when they stray out of their lane. They are an important safety asset.Caltrans is having rumble strips place on Hwy 12 from the San Joaquin/Calaveras County line to Hwy 49.
They will also place rumble strips on Hwy 26 from Shelton Road to Hwy 49. This project begins April 18, 2016, will take several months, scheduled to be completed in fall, 2016.
