The Butte County Sheriff's Office has reported that a deputy, Ryan Woolery (32) was arrested for alleged having intimate contact with an inmate at the Butte County Jail.
Woolery has now resigned. Although the sexual contact was apparently consentual, Woolery will alleged be charged with a felony.
