February 8, 2017 at 1:20 PM: Calaveras County Public Works and the owners of Meadowmont Shopping Center in Arnold are trying to figure out what caused this giant sinkhole in their driveway entrance.Police tape is across both the entrance and exit sides off of Meadow View at Hwy 4. No one is directing traffic currently and it is getting dangerous. Avoid that area if possible. Enter the Meadwomont Shopping Center from Hwy 4 directly, by the church.
