In what was a fascinating and sometimes confusing election, Tom Perez, an Obama appointee, was chosen to lead the Democratic National Committee into the future.
It was close and it took a 2nd ballot to assure Perez' win. He immediately chose Keith Ellison, who came in 2nd, to be Deputy 'Chair.
