In January of 2017 the UN Secretary General issued an appeal for peace worldwide.
Yesterday a reversal was issued: Red Alert for the world due to "fundamental ways the world has gone in reverse' since this time last year.
He also stated that "Conflicts have deepened and new dangers have emerged," and that "global anxieties about nuclear weapons are the highest since the Cold War".
The Secretary General also cited as concerns the rising danger of climate change, a growth in inequalities, horrific violations of human rights and increased nationalism and xenophobia.
Gee, I wonder where all this could be coming from????
