The local internet company that started out being called Goldrush, then became Mother Lode Internet, has now been changed again.
The new name for the company is Cal.Net. They have had a presence in Calaveras County for awhile, but will now take over the Sonora offices and the offices near Placerville, as they become the new company.
Subscribers were just notified offically by mail of the change.
