Interesting that the Calaveras Sheriff's Office has assigned extra patrols in the Wallace and
Burson area where Sheriff DiBasilio lives.
The press release states that due to reports of thefts and burglaries in the area, they increased patrols there, but NOT in Ebbetts Pass, where one lowly deputy is in charge of the entire area.
DiBasilio takes care of his own and NO ONE ELSE!! Despite tips on burglaries in Ebbetts Pass, they waited and conducted searches in his home area. How did we get a Sheriff like this?
