According to CHP, on January 23, 2020 around 3:40 PM Alan Yoder (67) of Murphys was
driving a 2011 Subaru Legacy on Hwy 4 near Appaloosa Road at around 45 MPH.
After traveling off the roadway, he collided with the Cherokee Creek Bridge and then into a 2019 Ford F150 driven by Richard Fautt (72) of Valley Springs and then overturned.
Richard Fautt and his passenger Linda Fautt (72) of Valley Springs sustained minor injuries. Yoder sustained major injuries and was transported to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
CHP indicates drugs or alcohol are not a factor in this collision.
