On January 8, 2020 Calaveras Sheriff deputies arrested Jacob Michael Jones (23) of Angels Camp at his residence on Gelding Way.
Jones was booked into
the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Willful Discharge of a Firearm with Gross Negligence and Assault with a Firearm on a Person, both felonies and for False Imprisonment and Battery on a Spouse or Date, both misdemeanors.
If you turn in your neighbor for shooting across your property line to kill pigeons or other wildlife, will they be arrested? It likely depends on whether they have a relationship with our Sheriff.
