It says that due to a "local emergency which is likely to lead to a public calamity and civil unrest, including looting, etc."
The curfew will be from 8 PM to 5AM within the city limits. Can you believe this? It must be a way of getting state and federal money!!
This is cowardly malfeasance and attempting to cause rioting. Don't they have anything else to do?
The only way any protests could cause problems is if the violent racist Trumpers protest, and everyone knows it.
Not only that, but they just now notified everyone about their EMERGENCY meeting at 12:30 PM today, in violation of the Brown Act, which requires 48 hours notice.

They are just trying to prevent the destruction other cities have experienced. Better safe than sorry. Why do you blame the President for everything? The riots are not his fault.
