Two-Term Limit?

The Sentinel has been asking candidates if they support a 2 term limit for Supervisors.  The results thus far:
  •  Russ Thomas is not in favor of a two term limit, but would support a three term limit.
  • Chris Wright replied yes, that he supports 2 term limits and would vote for it.
  • Bryce Randal also replied that he will vote for 2 term limits if elected.
We are well aware that Mr. Tryon and Ms. Callaway do not support term limits. Duh!
We have yet to hear from Tofanelli, who Is seeking his 2nd term, Joseph Kelly, or Debbie Ponte. We will let you know when they get back to us.

Russ Thomas is in favor of a three term limit so that IF he is elected to be a county supervisor and then IF he is relected to a second term he gets free medical benefits for life . . . Oh what? You thought he wanted to finished the community plan or the guardrail on Copper Cove Drive, the left turn lane into gate 2 at Poker Flat, the road to Melones through Morrisey's property or maybe the bridge from Calaveras to Tuolumne Counties? He had those listed as "significant" accomplishments when he ran against Spellman . . . "Experience That Counts"
