Officer Sereno tesifies for State in Zimmerman trial

Officer Sereno was asked to investigate the Trayvon Martin shooting in February of 2012.  He had been called to the crime scene around 8 PM the night of the shooting.

Zimmerman trial:  July 1, 2013: The State played an audio recording of an interview of George Zimmerman by Sereno around midnight the night of the shooting.

This interview got different responses than the first one, more embellishment. He said that Trayvon said something after he shot him in this interview.

This is NOT A GOOD COP, in our opinion!  He practically told him he was there to help him through this. Whoa!

The State asked if he had any problems understanding, or if he thought the injuries he had received were major or minor and he said minor.

He also went back to the subdivision where a missing boy had been reported the next day. He showed the photo to Mr Martin, who identified Trayvon as his son.

Again, he went to the subdivision to meet with George Zimmerman and Officer Smith where Zimmerman walked through the steps he had made the night before.

The judge explained that part of the tape is redacted for legal reasons.  The video shows Zimmerman driving through the subdivision and stopping, showing where he walked and he said something didn't feel right.

Zimmerman kept saying Trayvon kept looking at him and looking around. He went to another location he said he called non-emergency and gave them the address. Then Zimmerman said Trayvon walked right past him and he lost him or didn't know where he went.

Then Zimmerman said he saw him again and he was still on the phone with the police, and he circled my car. He now says Trayvon had his hand in his waistband.

He says he was still on the phone with non-emergency and then he walked down the walk following Trayvon, and kept walking all the way through.

He said he was looking for an address; then he started walking back to his truck when he says Trayvon came out after him. I don't see any bushes in the area at all.

Then he says they exchanged words and Trayvon punched him in the face, knowcked him down and then he started yelling for help.

Then Zimmerman said Trayvon started pounding his head into the pavement. then he says Trayvon threatened him and said "now you're going to die" and I thought he was going for my firearm.

Then he shot him. He admits Trayvon was face down and Zimmerman was on his back. Then a neighbor came out and the police arrived.  There are no  bushes close to where he says Trayvon attacked him.

He told them the doctor said he had a broken nose, and that he needed stitches but she didn't have to use them if he didn't want. He said if there was a deviated septum they could do something, but until the swelling went down, there was nothing they could do.

THAT IS NOT WHAT THE DOCTOR TESIFIED TO!
