Are you allowing letters on politics or are you charging like I hear one publication is doing in the county?
You seem to be the only publication who is telling what is really going on at the Calaveras Sheriff's
Office under our current Sheriff, Kuntz. No Sheriff needs to spend his time at the "BEAUTY PARLOR".
All the stories I hear about him and his gun friends who sleep with each others wives I could care less about.
The fact that he refuses to police his gun friends at the USFS gun range is disturbing.
But the worst thing is that he refuses to protect the women from dangerous criminals because they are his gun friends. I understand he even refused to turn over evidence from his personal emails in order to protect one guy he even calls "crazy"!
That is way too much. I know that this Sheriff does not care about controlling the crime in Ebbetts Pass. I was told that even if someone actually turns druggies in, that this Sheriff has ordered nothing be done; that they are his personal friends.
The Sheriff should apply the law equally and this sheriff doesn't. We need someone knew, who will at the very least look after and protect the women and children threatened by bad cops and low live crazies in Calaveras County.
I don't know the new guy who is running but I think I can guarantee just about anyone can beat Kuntz in Ebbetts Pass, where I live. I'm sick of the scummy one we seem to have now.

I read where 40% of American households now have at least one gun for protection. I recently purchased one for my second home in Ebbetts Pass to protect my family from the "gun nuts" who are allowed to roam free and threaten their neighbors because of this sheriff. By the way, I vote HERE!!
isn't this the one that Supes Callaway and Wilensky supported and now he's corrupt already.
What took you so long, Ed. I knew he was corrupt within 6 months of his taking over. Have you checked out the DA. She's bad news too. And they are buddies!!
Be careful! How does this guy get even? Like Christie or worse?
I heard that Wilensky tricked the Tea Party people into believing he supported them.
Is it true that it may be that the robbery at his house was staged to hide something he didn't want to reveal? There are lots of rumors about that.
Its easy to point at the bad but what about the good? Like doubling the force, allowing citizens to be armed while the President of our country is trying to take away our right to protection, implementing community patrols, etc.
P.S. Everyone needs to get their hair cut once in awhile.
And the public wants to thank Kuntz' campaign chairman for the comment above.
The doubling of the force is a temporary fix. Let's see what the mid-year budget analysis states.
