A report was called in to the Calaveras Sheriff about a dog panting severely after being left in a hot car on Big Trees Rd in Murphys.
No report was taken by the Sheriff. Please do not leave you animals in the car while you go in to have a pizza or whatever. It is CRUELTY to ANIMALS.

And what did Calaveras Co. Sheriff do????? In Amador Co. last week the same type report was made and their sheriff broke the window on the car and got the dog out.
Good thing it wasn't a child.
The owners should be required to sit in their car, closed up in the heat.
