Last night, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart interviewed the man who wants to break California up into 6 states. Mr. Draper, who lives in the state of Silicon Valley, would not have to share his tax money payments with us poorer states.
In some ways, having more local representation would be nice, but did you know that OUR state of Central California would be the POOREST state in the United States? Have to think about that!

If they had divided it into two or three, with each having part of the coastline, I could have supported it.
I would rather be poor than iive in the city.
