large turnout for the hearing, out into the hall. Those against outnumbered those for. Who showed up? Representatives from Congressman McClintock's office, Berryhill's and Bigelow's office. Representatives from other counties, water districts and a lot of citizens.

There was not any expression from the 3 supervisors, D-2 Wright, D-3 Callaway, D-5 Spellman as to constituent calls, pro or con.

Of course, by the discussion during the last meeting, one could see their minds, D-2, D-3, D_5 supervisors, were made up.

Why during this election season so many subjects continue to be brought back for re-consideration of the BOS.

How much did that approximately 3 hours of 3 minute speaking cost the citizens of Calaveras?

Is the BOS homework (agendas) so overwhelming, time consuming and not enough lead time for the BOS to read and comprehend the subjects of their votes?

Does an extended (two week agenda noticing) need to be implemented to give sufficient time to the BOS and the citizens to read all the agenda information provided for a BOS meeting?

Sierra Sentinel would you post the picture of the bull backed up to the fence as the Sierra Sentinel BOS Brand?
In my opinionated view, it is appropriate!

Steve Kearney spoke against the "Wild & Scenic. Where was Marti Crane? She was there with My Valley Springs.com. Where was Oliveriera?

BULL BRAND!!

Good vote on Wild and Scenic! We must stop destroying natural resources that are irreplaceable... I believe God gave us brains enough to figure out how to be smarter than to keep fouling our nest. Farmers and ranchers know better than to destroy their land.
