Dear Editor:
Just like in Israel and Palestine, religion in the US is the main cause of disputes, wars, conflicts, hatred, racism and the killing of an economy.
The right-wing is loud, obnoxious, judgmental and demanding. And with our Calaveras County officials, they force them to bend to their orders.
In Israel and Palestine, its the same thing. Two religions battling it out for centuries, just like they did at our Calaveras Board of Supervisors for hours at two meetings.
When a friend from the Bay Area asked about it, we were embarrassed to tell how our Supervisors BENT WAY OVER for the right. And they did to you what they wanted to do.
Nothing ever changes. The two sides never come together as friends. And the battles continue. Religion is the true root of all evil, in my opinion. This religion ONLY is now the LAW in Calaveras! It's true!
In the history of mankind, death and destruction follow religion wherever it is allowed to manifest itself. My anger about the obvious truth about religion runneth over. Please print this letter.

If most of us had known about Edson, we would NEVER have elected him. Oh, he cares about himself and his restaurant, and that is ALL.
You must realize that those people, especially the one with the purple hair, are not the most highly educated. They do what the priest tells them to do. You are correct, it is scary.
I don't care what people believe if they just leave me alone to believe as I wish. Now they have got our county lined up and i'm mad!
