After weeks of testimony where former Governor McDonnell and his wife tried to convince the jury that they were not guilty of taking bribes, and 12 other felony counts, the jury returned today.
The shock, crying, sobbing, wailing went on for the entire time the verdicts were read, which took quite some time. Even Mrs. McDonnell was convicted on nearly all charges. They could spend the rest off their lives in prison, instead of running for President on the Republican ticket.
