Why is it that a man in New Jersey is sentenced to 5 years in prison, but in Calaveras County, when a dog poisoning is reported, the Sheriff does nothing?
Our dogs are our companions and friends and to injure and cause pain to any animal should be prosecuted to the fullest. This is only one serious problem at our Sheriff's department.
Was the poisoner or poisoners, personal friends of the Sheriffs? That seems to be the name of the game her in Calaveras. Who cares about the animals?
