On October 6, 2014 the Calaveras Sheriff's Office arrested Steven Arthur Williams (38) of Valley Springs, on Baldwin Street for allegedly Altering a Firearm ID mark, Marijuana Plants and for Importing/Manufacturing for Sale or Possession of a Firearm, all felonies.
Williams was booked into the Calaveras County Jail. At around 5:30 AM two calls were received in this area for illegal shooting on Baldwin. This could possibly be connected to the arrest, but we aren't sure.
