Three horses put to death after Stockton races

   Three horses were put to death last weekend after breaking their legs in races at the Fairgrounds. The tragic business of horse-racing is not a pretty one!

   What is best for the animals is often pushed to the rear as winning a race is what the owner expects.   The horses will be inspected for the cause of the breaks at UC Davis.
